Featured in the fall-winter 2009 “Mouse Trap” show by Jeremy Scott, the Mickey Hi is based on the vintage adidas Eldorado model, reworked with elements of the classic Walt Disney character Mickey Mouse. The shoes were not originally planned for release as part of the FW09 collection and were most likely replaced by the JS Africa. However, following the success of the show and the growing demand for the sneakers, adidas officially collaborated with Walt Disney in 2010 to bring this iconic design to life.
Being such a limited release, they’re quite hard to find, and most pairs circulating on online marketplaces are not authentic.
The shoes are in used condition with no particular flaws, they are still looking good (but worn).
